As CMO, Matheson will lead the development and execution of Alert Logic's global marketing strategy as the company continues building on its market position as a leader in the cloud security space.

Matheson comes to Alert Logic most recently from Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he served as General Manager of Global Field and Partner Marketing. At AWS, he was responsible for building and leading the field marketing teams across the United States, EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. During his tenure, Matheson also designed and launched the AWS Partner Network Program, growing it to more than 8,000 partners worldwide.

Prior to VMware, Matheson also drove product management, product marketing, and business development initiatives at Microsoft. He graduated from Northeastern University and currently serves on the Board of Visitors at the school's D'Amore-McKim School of Business.
