Bay Area nonprofit Silicon Valley Forum is having a birthday, and the whole Valley is invited: their 35th Anniversary is a party and a pitch night rolled into one epic evening, to be held January 31st at Opal in Mountain View, CA. The evening kicks off with a lightning introduction to their newly revamped Startupedia, a one-of-a-kind online learning tool for startup entrepreneurs. The main event will feature a pitch battle between former champions and audience favorites from Silicon Valley Forum’s Startup Pitch Night series, an ongoing event held in partnership with K&L Gates.

“With so many wonderful things happening for our organization at once, we knew we had the makings of a fantastic evening—we’ve got a lot to celebrate!” said Denyse Cardozo, CEO and president of Silicon Valley Forum. “Our 35th year, our beautiful new Startupedia website, and, at the center of it all, our most epic Startup Pitch Night yet. We’ve got fan favorites and former champs returning to the stage for a shot at being number one. You won’t want to miss this!”

“As incoming Chairman of the Board at Silicon Valley Forum, it’s my pleasure to help kick off the organization’s 35th year,” said Michael Torosian, partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. “Silicon Valley Forum’s commitment to startup entrepreneurship has been a guiding light in Silicon Valley since the very beginning, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with an event like this one.”

The 35th Anniversary celebration will kick off on January 31st, 2018, from 5-9 p.m. Tickets are available on the event page. For event updates, follow Silicon Valley Forum on Twitter (@SVForum) or track dedicated hashtags #SVFStartupBattle, #Startupedia, and #SVF35.
