Xiaole Sun

Ms. Xiaole Sun is a Senior Researcher at SSgA Funds Management, Inc. She is also the Head of Custom Research for the Systematic Equity Team in SSGA.
In this role, she leads the custom research team in developing custom strategies by partnering with our clients, ranging from indexing, to factor, climate, ESG strategies, and tax efficient solutions, etc.
Prior to joining the Systematic Equity team, Ms. Sun held various quantitative research roles.
While within the then Advanced Research Center (ARC) in SSGA, she was responsible for developing and enhancing active equity models for global and the North America markets.
Before joining SSGA, she was with State Street Global Markets' US Equity Research Team, where she was responsible for performing analysis and drafting research publications, using the proprietary data on flows and investor behavior.
Ms. Sun is an ABD in International Economics and Finance at Brandeis University, and received her MA and BA in Economics from Peking University.
She is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
