Tom Shao

Dr. Tom Shao is General Partner at Technology Associates Management Co. Ltd.
In addition to his role with TAMC, Dr. Shao is an angel investor that has seeded many companies over the past 20 years.
He has a diverse career background at Bell Labs., AT&T and IBM in business information systems, network planning/operations, computer architecture, telecommunication systems, computer hardware/software, supercomputing, cellular telephone network, High -Definition TV with over thirty years of technical and management experience.
He has several years of Venture Capital Investment experience since the mid-1980s.
He has served as a board member of many publicly and privately held high-tech companies.
Dr. Shao received his Ph.D.
in Applied Mathematics/Computer Science and M.S.
in Engineering from the University of Illinois and B.S.
from the National Taiwan University.
