BIDS Trading LP is a registered broker-dealer and holding firm headquartered in New York City. The firm was founded by Jim Lee and Jim Bird in 2006. BIDS Trading is the operator of the BIDS Alternative Trading System (ATS), an independently managed and operated trading venue, separate from and not integrated with the Cboe US securities exchanges. It brings counterparties together to anonymously trade large blocks of shares. The BIDS ATS is open to all qualifying broker-dealers and their institutional clients, subject to basic credit and regulatory requirements.
