Mr. Thomas Deng is Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Head of Investment at Invesco Great Wall Fund Management Co. Ltd.
Before joining Invesco in November 2011, he was Managing Director & Head of China Equity Capital Markets at Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC.
He was responsible in the expansion of Goldman's equity financing business in China.
Prior to his appointed in 2010, he was Chief Strategist for China equities.
Mr Deng has extensive experience with various roles in China financial market for more than 18 years.
He covered many sectors such as financials, conglomerates, transportation and technology with other leading investment banks for 10 years before joining Goldman Sachs in 2004.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, he was employed as a Director in the China equity research department of Credit Suisse from 2003-2004, an Assistant Director at BNP Paribas Securities (Asia) from 1997-2001, with responsibility in equity research and a Dealer in Forex department of Calyon Bank in Hong Kong.
Mr. Deng earned two Master's degrees in Statistics & Economics respectively from University of Utah in 1994.
He graduated with Bachelor's degree in International Finance from Wuhan University in 1989 and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2000.
He completed Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2008.
