The firm was founded in 1983 and formerly known as Voyageur Asset Management Inc. They are a subsidiary of RBC USA Holdco Corp. and their ultimate parent is Royal Bank of Canada (NYSE, TSE: RY). The firm manages separate growth and value portfolios for individuals and institutions. FCM was founded in 1930 and was formerly a subsidiary of RBC Dain Rauscher, which is subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada (NYSE: RY).
