Mr. Talbot Carleton is Senior Vice President at Oaktree Capital Management LP.
Prior to joining Oaktree in May 2007, Mr. Carleton spent two years as Vice President of Marketing for Dalton Investments LLC, a Los Angeles-based hedge fund group.
Before Dalton Investments, he was an Associate at Citigroup Private Equity where he identified, evaluated and executed leveraged buyout, growth equity and late-stage venture investments across industries.
Previously, Mr. Carleton was a Corporate Finance Analyst in the Global Telecommunications Group at Salomon Smith Barney in New York where he participated in M&A and capital raising transactions.
Mr. Carleton received a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
