Mr. Chang is the founder and the CEO of HanAsset, Inc. He has extensive investment banking experience working with Korean, Japanese and British investment banks.
Born in 1957, Mr. Chang has lived in the U.S., U.K., Denmark, Philippines, and Ethiopia.
After earning a BS in Architecture at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1980, he returned to Korea for military duties, where he was commissioned as an artillery officer and later assigned to the Korea Military Academy as a lecturer.
In 1985, Mr. Chang returned to MIT to earn an MBA at Sloan School of Management.
From 1987-90, he was AVP of Corporate Finance at Yamaichi International (America), Inc. in New York.
In January 1990, Mr. Chang returned to Korea to join Daishin Securities Co., Ltd., first as Manager of the International Finance Department for two years, then as Managing Director of Daishin International (Europe), Ltd.
in London between 1992-94.
From 1994-97, Mr. Chang was Director and Head of Korean Equities in SBC Warburg Securities Seoul Branch.
Most recently, he was Managing Director of Tong Yang Securities (America), Inc., coordinating Tong Yang Group's global portfolio investments and joint ventures in U.S.
He currently serves as Vice Chairman-Supervisory Board at Schramm Holding since August 2008.
