Steven P. Asprey

Dr. Steven P.
Asprey is a Portfolio Manager at Javelin Capital LLP.
He joined Javelin Capital in September 2009, and is a Portfolio Manager on the Global Equity Strategies Fund.
Prior to joining Javelin Capital, he worked in the Algorithmic Trading team and as a Quantitative Investment Analyst during his two terms at Orbis Investment Advisory (2002 - 2005 and 2009), where he spent time developing proprietary trading algorithms and trading analytics tools.
Before Orbis, he ran a statistical arbitrage fund at RSS Capital (2007 - 2008).
Between 2005 and 2007, he worked as a Statistical Arbitrage Trader on the prop desk at Citigroup.
Dr. Asprey holds a Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada and between 1998 - 2002, he worked as a Lecturer and post-doctoral Research Associate at both Imperial College, London and Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.
He has published a number of books and papers on dynamic modelling techniques.
