Steven Proctor several years of infrastructure experience.
Within this sector he has advised project developers and various governments.
He has invested into operational infrastructure projects as well as bid and structured new ones.
Finally he acted as Lead Arranging banker to several UK PFI projects.
Since joining Henderson, Steven has been sourcing and analysing investment opportunities for Henderson’s two secondary-focussed infrastructure funds.
During the acquisition of John Laing plc in 2006, he was responsible for valuing the investment portfolio; including the rail business (including the Chiltern Railways, the London Over-ground and the Wrexham and Shropshire Railway) and the investment held by John Laing in Octagon (an up-market house builder).
The Laing Rail business is scheduled for sale in late 2007.
Steven is currently a director of Laing Rail.
Prior to joining Henderson in 2004, Steven developed Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation’s lead arranging PFI business.
Steven is a Chartered Management Accountant and has an Economics Degree from St. Andrews University.
