Stephen P. Chance

Stephen Chance has been a director of Arlington Capital Investors Limited since 2001 and Managing Director since 2006.
His responsibilities within Arlington include corporate governance policy, communications, external affairs, compliance and related issues.
He qualified as a solicitor with Linklaters & Paines in 1975 and subsequently specialised in company and finance law.
He then spent 12 years in banking, firstly with Manufacturers Hanover and subsequently with Den norske Creditbank, working on international and project lending and, in the 1980s, corporate finance and capital markets business.
In 1988 he formed his own consultancy firm covering business development and financial communications issues.
Since then he has taken on a variety of assignments ranging from annual reports and investor relations work for some major Scandinavian corporations to management of a specialist stockbroker and marketing projects for financial software companies.
Pursuant to his work in stockbroking he acted as Chief Operating Officer of CAI Cheuvreux International Limited from 1997 to 2000.
Mr Chance holds a law degree from Oxford University.
