Stephan Illenberger

Mr. Stephan Illenberger holds an MBA from the University of Munich and an MA in Economics from Chicago University.
Before joining AXA Private Equity in 2001, he was a Managing Partner of Doertenbach & Co, an independent management company for four years.
Previous to this, he was Head of Corporate Finance at NatWest Markets in Germany and subsequently CEO of York Hannover group (Germany, Canada, USA).
From 1987-1992, he held the position of Associate Director of Bayerische Vereinsbank in the M&A department.
He later began a career as an Analyst at McKinsey & Co., IBM and TA Associates.
