Before joining North Haven Partners, Mr. Delman was Vice President, Business Development at Springer Science + Business Media, the world’s second-largest specialist media group for scientific, technical, and medical research information.
At Springer, Mr. Delman was responsible for mergers & acquisitions, business development, and digital media product development, including oversight of the company's next generation product platforms and electronic publishing initiatives.
Mr. Delman assisted in numerous acquisitions, such as Chapman & Hall Publishers from the Thomson Corporation, a take-private acquisition of Plenum Publishing Corporation, and Baltzer Publishers.
In 2002, Mr. Delman co-led a leveraged buyout of Kluwer Academic Publishers, a leading provider of specialist information from Wolters Kluwer nv, backed by private equity firms Candover Investments Plc and Cinven Ltd.
and, in 2003, the subsequent roll-up acquisition of BertelsmannSpringer from parent Bertelsmann AG.
Mr. Delman received a B.A.
in Philosophy from Tufts University.
