Mr. Scot Knight is Senior Vice President at UMB Fund Services, Inc. Previously, he was with J.P.
Morgan’s managed account services division from May 2006 until July 2010, when it was acquired by UMB Fund Services.
Before joining J.P.
Morgan, he was the managing principal of Knight, Inc., where he provided consulting services to SMA service providers and asset managers focused on improving straight-through processing and operational efficiencies.
Prior to this, as vice president of sales, marketing and business development at ByAllAccounts, he was instrumental in defining the firm’s key vertical markets and sales strategy.
Additionally, he worked for nearly 18 years with Thomson Financial Services, where he managed multiple business units including Omgeo, a joint venture between the DTCC and Thomson Financial.
In this capacity he held leadership positions with Thomson Vision, Paragon, Autex, Portia, and Technical Data divisions, developing the firms’ capabilities and growing revenues domestically and internationally.
Mr. Knight earned his MBA from Northeastern University and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from St. Michael’s College.
