Robert Hoover

Dr. Hoover is President of Albertson College, an Idaho liberal arts institution nationally recognized for its academic programs.
Albertson College has graduated a remarkable number of Rhodes Scholars as well as Marshall, Goldwater, Truman, Wilson, Fulbright, National Hispanic and Rotary International Scholars.
At Albertson College, he provides strong leadership and ensure its continued academic distinction.
Prior to Albertson College, Dr. Hoover was president of the University of Idaho, where he made an impact by sharpening the university's focus on teaching and research, and was a champion of information technology.
Dr. Hoover served as vice president for academic affairs at the University of Nevada, Reno, and was both a dean and department head at Utah State University.
He received his BS and MS degrees from Arizona State University and a doctorate from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
