Mr. Richard B.
Cawthorne is Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Beacon Trust Co. Mr. Cawthorne has been in the financial industry for over 50 years.
Prior to joining Beacon Trust, Mr. Cawthorne was president and CEO of Furgueson Capital Management.
In addition to managing accounts, he headed the firm’s Investment Policy Committee.
Earlier, Mr. Cawthorne was vice president and senior investment officer at Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank) for more than 30 years.
While at the bank, Mr. Cawthorne was responsible for the core trust group that supervised portfolios of $4 billion of trust assets.
He served as chairman of the Trust Investment Committee and personally managed $600 million of trust and advisory assets.
He formerly served as treasurer and director of the John Hart Hunter Educational Foundation, Inc. as well as treasurer and director of the Kappa Alpha Society, his national social fraternity.
In addition, Mr. Cawthorne served as an advisor, finance chairman, and treasurer for his church and for his fraternity’s alumni board at Lehigh University.
Mr. Cawthorne received his bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Lehigh University.
