Rachel Slaymaker

Dr. Rachel Slaymaker is a Research Officer at The Economic & Social Research Institute.
She joined the firm in September 2017.
She is an applied micro-econometrician and her research interests are in the areas of International Migration, Household Finance and Financial Stability, Housing Economics and International Trade.
Previously, Dr. Slaymaker worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at University of Nottingham and as a Casual Research Assistant at the International Migration Institute, University of Oxford.
She obtained her PhD in Economics from University of Nottingham in 2018.
She holds an MSc in Economics and International Economics from University of Nottingham and a BSc in Money, Banking and Finance with Italian Studies from University of Birmingham.
