Kuwait Investment Office (KIO) is the Great Britain-based branch office of government-owned Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA). The firm was founded in 1953 as the Kuwait Investment Board with a mandate to invest surplus oil revenue and reduce Kuwait’s reliance on a single finite resource.
