Philip A. Cropper

Mr. Philip A.
Cropper is a Portfolio Manager at Sanlam Private Investments (UK) Ltd.
(formerly known as Principal Investment Management Ltd.) Prior to the acquisition of Border Asset Management by Principal Holdings, he joined Border Asset Management in July 2010.
He started his career with National Westminster Bank in the early 1970’s before joining their merchant banking arm County Bank.
He then switched into stockbroking with Smith Keen Cutler in Birmingham.
During his time with SKC, other than looking after private clients, he set up their unit trust advisory service.
He was subsequently a director of Allied Provincial Securities and Brewin Dolphin in Birmingham before joining Charles Stanley & Co Ltd in Oxford in 2001 to develop their discretionary management business.
