Peter Morris

Mr. Morris joined Trident Capital as a Venture Partner in 2005.
Mr. Morris has twenty-five years of experience leading teams to design, deliver, and invest in employer-sponsored products and services for employees.
Most recently, he was with VantagePoint Venture Partners, where he sourced healthcare commerce investments and was acting CEO for a start-up effort.
He also was the Chief Corporate Development Officer for WageWorks, a VantagePoint portfolio company, where he developed a successful new healthcare account service as well as the overall product and business plan.
Mr. Morris was an owner (partner) with Hewitt Associates for many years, founding and managing the Seattle office and then leading the San Francisco office and West Coast Managing Consultant practice.
In these roles, he led teams to deliver consistent growth, and remained personally active as a consultant to large corporations.
Over the years, Mr. Morris’s clients included Boeing, Chevron, Clorox, Nike, Safeco, Tektronix and Weyerhaeuser.
While at Hewitt, Mr. Morris helped to found and lead Sageo, an internal start-up providing streamlined, outsourced healthcare benefits administration services.
Today, Sageo is Hewitt’s downmarket platform and serves over a million employees.
Mr. Morris advises early stage companies and investors, primarily in the healthcare services and business process outsourcing areas.
