Paul Swanson

Mr. Paul Swanson, CPA, is Integrated Wealth Advisor & Senior Tax Advisor at Carlson Capital Management, Inc. Mr. Swanson joined Carlson Capital Management with a depth of experience, having advised clients in individual taxation, estate, trust, gift and charitable planning for twenty years.
He worked most recently as a tax director with a firm in the Twin Cities.
In that role, he also helped develop a Registered Investment Advisory practice within the firm.
He is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountant, and through Minnesota Certified Public Accountant has instructed continuing education courses for fellow Certified Public Accountants on the topics of financial planning, stock options, charitable planning and income taxes.
He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Swanson is a graduate of Winona State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in accounting.
He also holds a master's degree in business taxation from the University of Minnesota.
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he has earned the Certified Financial Planner designation granted through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
He also holds the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Personal Financial Specialist designation.
