Dr. Paul J.
Wesson, CFA, is a Co-Founder & Portfolio Manager at Parkstone Asset Management Ltd.
He has over fifteen years experience in analysis and investment management.
In 2008, he joined Monument Securities Advisory Services where he used his financial knowledge and experience to assist in writing expert opinion reports regarding structured products and exotic derivatives.
He also completed a review of the UK Structured Product market.
From 1998 until 2008, he worked at F&C Asset Management where he created F&C's Risk Department.
His department independently monitored the risks on over £100bn of assets under management.
He originated a comprehensive and reliable risk control process aimed at monitoring and analysing investment risk exposures, and structured products held within the funds were monitored and stress tested.
From 1994 until 1998, he was with the Bank of England, working in the Monetary Instruments and Markets Division.
He created financial models to extract market expectations of interest rates, exchange rates and inflation rates, working with the Bank Economists.
Dr. Wesson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Bristol University.
He obtained his Master of Science degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Economics from Birbeck College.
He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Numerical Analysis from Oxford University.
He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of the UK.
