TD Direct Investing (Europe) Ltd. is an execution only, UK-based brokerage firm with offices Leeds, Manchester, London and Birmingham. The firm was formerly a subsidiary of TD Waterhouse Investor Services UK Ltd., itself a subsidiary of Toronto-Dominion Bank (NYSE: TD) in Canada. In June 2017, TD Direct Investing Ltd. was acquired by Interactive Investor Ltd. Established in the UK in 1997 as Green Line Investor Services (UK) Ltd., the firm was re-branded TD Waterhouse Investor Services (Europe) Ltd. in 1998. In 2011 they changed their name to TD Direct Investing (Europe) Ltd. TD Direct Investing has been serving retail investors in the UK since 1998 and globally through its International Business in Luxembourg since 2000. The firm was one of the first to launch a mobile trading app in the UK, and its Advanced Trading Platform allows sophisticated traders the ability to customize their trading experience. Since gaining regulatory permissions to provide customers with non-personalized advice in April 2015, TD Direct Investing has launched a raft of new propositions to help traders and investors make confident decisions, including a list of Recommended Funds, Quick Start Funds and a technical insight offering. It is a leader in the provision of International trading, allowing customers to trade in 16 countries across 45 exchanges, and is one of the only providers that offers a free multi-currency service.
