Prior to joining FAM, Mr. Manero led the Global Corporate Banking Products organization for Banco Santander in Madrid, Spain.
His coverage included Global Trade, Cash Management and Securities Services, Asset Back Finance and Working Capital Loans.
He was also the Credit Portfolio Manager for the Corporate and Investment Bank.
From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Manero was a Managing Director at Citigroup in New York, where he held several positions within the Global Transaction Banking Division, one of the Bank’s reporting segments.
His last assignments were as the Division’s Global Treasurer and Latin America’s COO and Regional Trade Head.
Before his years at Citigroup, Mr. Manero had an extensive career in Project Finance, based in New York: He led the Americas Group for Warburg Dillon Read - the Investment Bank Division of Swiss Bank Corporation; He was Project Finance Latin America Senior Transactor and Head of Trade Financing for the Region at Banque Paribas; And, he was Senior Transactor in Project and Infrastructure Finance at Morgan Stanley and Citicorp Securities.
He began his finance career at Citibank in 1985.
Mr. Manero holds a Master in Business Administration from IESA in Venezuela and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
