Ms. Boucher joined Montrusco Associates Inc. in 1984.
She was head equity trader of the firm from 1985 to 1995 and is currently a vice-president of marketing and client servicing in Montrusco Bolton’s Private Investment Management division.
Ms. Boucher has many years experience in the investment field, particularly in the analysis of financial institutions and portfolio management.
She began her investment career at C.J.
Hodgson Securities Ltd.
In 1963.
In 1977, she joined Bolton Tremblay Inc. as Research Assistant to Mr. André Marsan, and in 1981, she joined Timmins & Associates Inc. as Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager for individual accounts.
Normande Boucher is actively involved in the Montreal financial community as a member of the Cercle finance et placement du Québec and of the Montreal Institutional Equity Traders Association.
She was President of the latter association in 1988 and 1989 and also sat on the institutional committee of the National Security Traders Association in New York.
Ms. Boucher received a diploma in translation from McGill University and has since completed three courses in economics, financial statement analysis and computer programming at the same university.
She has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and a course on tax and financial planning at the University of Quebec.
