Nick R. de Mestre

Mr. Nicholas de Mestre is an Investment Director at FourWinds Capital Management.
Prior to joining FourWinds in 2008, Nick was an Associate in the UK Coverage team at Merrill Lynch in London where he worked on a wide variety of transactions including Terra Firma’s £1.4bn sale of Waste Recycling Group’s landfill assets to FCC in 2006 and, more recently, GIP and Montagu’s £1.6 billion acquisition of Biffa plc in early 2008.
Prior to joining ML he worked in the corporate team at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in London, advising on a broad range of M&A, restructuring and debt financing transactions.
Mr. de Mestre has a BA (Jurisprudence) from the University of Oxford.
