The company operates through five segments: Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Trading and Sale, Corporate Finance, and Asset management. The Commercial Banking segment includes strategic partnership with corporate and SME sector entities to provide working capital financing, trade financing and cash management services, project finance, real estate, export finance, leasing, lending, guarantees, bills of exchange and deposits. The Retail Banking segment includes mortgage finance and personal loans to individual customers. The Trading and sales segment includes fixed income, equity, foreign exchanges, commodities, credit, funding, own position securities, lending and repos, brokerage debt and prime brokerage. The Corporate finance segment includes services provided in connection with mergers and acquisition, underwriting, privatization, securitization, research, debts, equity, syndication and secondary private placement. The Asset management segment includes management fee received from open-end funds and modaraba managed by the Group. KASB Bank was founded on October 13, 1994 and is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan.
