Mike Ireland

Prior to joining Blum Capital in 2007 as Director of Investor Relations, Mr. Ireland was a Director at Newbury Partners, responsible for the origination, valuation, execution and monitoring of secondary investments.
Prior to Newbury Partners, He was a Vice President of Marketing with Capital Z Partners, a private equity and hedge fund firm focused on direct investments in the financial services sector and fund sponsorship opportunities.
Previously, Mr. Ireland was a portfolio manager in the Alternative Investments division of the State Board of Administration of Florida, where he was responsible for investing and monitoring allocations across private equity portfolio.
He also served six years in the U.S.
Naval Nuclear Power Program.
Mr. Ireland graduated with honors from Florida State University with a BS in Finance.
