Mike Chitwood

Mr. Mike Chitwood is a Principal at Benjamin F.
Edwards & Co., Inc. Mr. Chitwood has several years of experience within the brokerage industry, and all but 11 of those years were spent opening branches, working with branch personnel and developing a national branch network.
He joined A.G.
Edwards in 1969 as a margin clerk and quickly moved up the ranks, working as a supervisor in number of departments, including: Margin, Cashier, Reorg, and Legal/Transfer.
During his career, he played an instrumental role developing the firm’s branch network in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North and South Carolina.
Reporting directly to the company’s branch director, he was promoted to vice president and senior branch administrator and supervised four branch administrators in addition to his other responsibilities.

Edwards was sold to Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors), Mr. Chitwood was named a Senior Vice President.
He left the firm in April 2009.
