Mr. Merrigan joined HRJ Capital's hedge fund focused affiliate, Olympius Capital, in March 2006 as Senior Research Associate.
Effective July 1, 2006, he joined HRJ Capital as Senior Research Associate.
He is responsible for assisting in the overall investment process, including manager selection and the management of the hedge portfolios.
Before joining Olympius, he spent approximately six years at Credit Suisse, the last three of which he worked in Credit Suisse's fund of hedge funds group.
During his tenure with Credit Suisse's fund of hedge funds group, he was a member of the long/short equity investment team and head of client performance reporting.
Prior to joining Credit Suisse, he spent three years at Gamco Investors (heritage Gabelli Asset Management).
At Gamco Investors, he focused on client relationships related to hedge funds and separate accounts in addition to assisting with marketing and portfolio management.
While at Gamco, he had the opportunity to work closely with the firm's founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mario J.
Gabelli.
