Ms. Hennessy joined Hartline Investment Corporation in March of 1996.
She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1987 with a B.S.
in Finance and a minor in Mathematics.
She received an M.A.
in Economics from DePaul University and also began course work for a M.S.
in Applied Mathematics.
Previously, she worked at the American Medical Association as the Manager of Information Systems in the Department of Data Collection.
There she maintained the database of over 600,000 physicians and resident physicians, in addition to the medical student database of over 35,000.
Ms. Hennessy used the data to perform statistical analysis on healthcare issues.

During this period, she worked part time as an accounting assistant where she gained her accounting experience.
Before moving to Chicago, she worked at the White House as a Research Assistant in the Office of Policy Development during the Reagan Administration.
There she researched and assisted in the drafting of economic and domestic policy initiatives.
She is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Parents Too Soon Program at the Christopher House and is a member of the Women's Board at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center.
