Mark Coley joined Rathbones as an investment director in April 2006 following Rathbones’ acquisition of Dexia’s UK private banking business.
A graduate of Cambridge University, he came to the City in 1969 when he joined Fielding Newson-Smith, becoming a partner in 1975.
After a spell of two years with ANZ McCaughan he joined Ely Fund Managers in January 1990, later to become part of the Dexia Group, where he was personally responsible for the portfolios of a large number of clients and had overall responsibility for private client portfolio management within Dexia Private Banking.
