Marilyn Feaver

Ms. Feaver is currently involved as a member of the Front Line Team representing the Southwest Oklahoma Impact Coalition, a regional economic development planning group, and has personally conducted over 100 e-synchronist interviews with manufacturers and business owners in the Chickasha area in the past twelve months.
In May, 2006 she was selected to serve on a five member team representing Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education at an American Association of State Colleges and Universities conference focusing on regional stewardship.
While in Lawton, she served as Team Leader for the Economic Development Team which was highly successful in recruiting a number of significant manufacturers and service industries to Southwest Oklahoma to include Republic Paperboard, Silver Line Plastics, the Assurant Group and the Non Line of Sight Cannon Assembly Plant.
She is also acknowledged as the originator of the Festival of Light, the widely acclaimed Christmas lights program in Chickasha.
She was also given the responsibility for guiding both the City of Chickasha and the City of Lawton through the Oklahoma Certified Cities program during the 1990s.
Ms. Feaver was named as the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executive of Year in 2000 for her work in economic development and is a Leadership Oklahoma alumnus.
In 2002 she was chosen as one the top 50 women in the state by the Journal Record and was selected as a participant for the National Women's Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C.
One of her highest honors was being inducted into the Military Order of Saint Barbara, the patron saint of the U.S.
Field Artillery.
She is a community volunteer and has served on boards for numerous civic and non-profit organizations to include The Oklahoma Academy, Chickasha Public School Foundation, Salvation Army, United Way of Grady County, Armed Forces YMCA, Arts for All, Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra and Lawton Rotary Club.
