Mariana Angélica Torán

Ms. Mariana Torán is a Principal Ecoomist at Casa de Bolsa BBVA Bancomer SA de CV.
She previously worked as Deputy Director of Supervision at the National Retirement Savings System Commission (CONSAR), and as Director of Industrial Banking and Commerce in the Development Banking Unit at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP).
She also worked as Associate Director in the Public Finance group of Standard & Poor's Rating Services and as Head of Office in the General Directorate of Economic Research at Banco de Mexico.
Ms. Torán Flores holds a BA in Economics from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), a Master’s in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Diploma in Dynamic Econometric Models (ITAM).
