Mr. Dien joined CEP in late-2004 after leaving Deutsche Bank where he was a managing director in investment banking.
Earlier in his career, he was a managing director at Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”) in investment banking.
Prior to CSFB, he was a managing director at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette in investment banking.
During his investment-banking career, he has sold, merged, acquired, and raised billions of dollars of capital for scores of companies in a variety of industries.
Most of the financings were in the $150 million to $500 million range.
Mr. Dien received an MBA from the University of Chicago with a specialization in Finance and a Bachelors degree from Claremont McKenna where he majored in mathematics and economics.
