Ms. Lakesha Cash, MBA, is a Director-Investments at Jalia Ventures.
Prior to Jalia Ventures, she worked as a mergers and acquisitions analyst at a top-tier investment bank for three years and then founded a consultancy that focused on business development and fundraising for inner-city entrepreneurs.
Ms. Cash received her BA in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
While at Columbia, she served as co-chair for the Columbia Business School Bernstein Leadership and Ethics Board and received the 2010 Nathan Gantcher Prize for Social Enterprise.
She is also a member of the Columbia Advisory Committee on Social Responsible Investing and advises the Trustees on ethical and social issues that arise in the management of the investments in the University's endowment.
