Profile

In addition to his role at Originate Ventures, Mr. Wrobel is the president of Lehigh Valley Industrial Park Inc. (LVIP), a private non-profit real estate development corporation.
He is managing the redevelopment of 1,000 acres of the former Bethlehem Steel plant in Bethlehem, Pa., the largest privately-owned brownfield site in the nation.
Known as LVIP VII at the Bethlehem Commerce Center, the former plant is to be transformed into mixed use business center leveraging $1 billion in private investment.
Mr. Wrobel has responsibility for LVIPs entire 2,500-acre industrial park system including the active management of LVIP VI, a 192-acre business center recently constructed in Bethlehem Township, Pa.
Prior to joining LVIP, he held several management positions with Binney & Smith Inc., the manufacturer of Crayola products in Easton, Pa.
Mr. Wrobel also served as the first executive vice president of the Bethlehem Economic Development Corporation in Bethlehem, Pa.
Mr. Wrobel received a BA in economics and psychology from Swarthmore College and an MA in public policy and management from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
He is a certified economic development finance professional.
