BBVA Asset Management SA SGIIC (BBVA-AM) is the asset management subsidiary of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BME: BBVA, ADR: BBVA) in Spain. Founded in 1979 as BBV Gestinova, the firm became BBVA Gestión in 2000 when BBV Gestinova and Argentaria Gestión merged and was rebranded as BBVA-AM in 2008. They are headquartered in Madrid and manage pension plans and participate in the Latin American markets of Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. BBVA-AM also manages a range of investment mandates for insurance companies, employment plans and corporate clients through their platform in Luxembourg.

Santander Asset Management SA SGIIC (Santander AM) is the asset management subsidiary of Santander Asset Management Investment Holdings Ltd. in Great Britain, itself a subsidiary of Banco Santander SA (BME: SAN) in Spain. Founded in 1971, the firm is headquartered in Madrid and has a network of offices throughout Spain and local investment teams throughout the world. Santander AM manages a volume of assets for both individual and institutional clients, as well as for Santander Group subsidiaries in all geographies.
