NIBC Markets NV (NIBC Markets) is the wholly-owned investment banking and securities brokerage subsidiary of NIBC Bank NV, itself a subsidiary of NIBC Holding NV in The Netherlands. Established in 1981 as Suez Nederland Securities, the firm was formerly known as SNS Securities NV. They are based in Amsterdam and provide equity research, fixed-income securities, institutional brokerage, trading, corporate finance, acquisition finance, asset management and private placement advisory services. Their clients include domestic and international financial institutions, pension funds, asset managers, hedge funds, endowments, charities, foundations and high-net worth individuals. NIBC Markets specializes in the Dutch securities market and also provides pan-European research through the European Securities Network (ESN). Their research capabilities include long-term macroeconomic trends analysis, interest rate and foreign currency forecasts, and shorter-term industry- and stock-specific analysis.
