After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Finance and Information Systems, Mr. Cress began his career in Madison with one of the nation’s largest financial planning firms.
Mr. Cress earned his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1985.
In addition, he also maintains his Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations.
In 1989, Mr. Cress started an independent fee advisory practice which became the precursor to Access.
He currently serves as a member of the Wisconsin YMCA State Alliance and is the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA Endowment Committee Chairman.
He is also a past president of the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA's Board of Directors.
