Prior to joining Church Capital Management, Mr. Barry was a Managing Director of the Sterling Financial Trust Company, he was responsible for the investment policy and strategy associated with over $1 billion in assets, managed both equity and fixed income portfolios, and directed a team of portfolio managers and retail brokers.
Prior to joining Sterling Financial Trust Company, Mr. Barry managed the municipal bond department for Hopper Soliday & Co., Inc., a Pennsylvania leader in tax-exempt bond underwriting.
There he structured debt financings for municipalities, actively traded the secondary market, and was involved in over $4 billion dollars of debt underwritings.
Mr. Barry received his BBA in Finance and Real Estate from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia and is pursuing a degree in financial planning from the College of Financial Planning.
He serves on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, was a charter member of the Byler Memorial Sertoma Club, and served on the Session at First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster.
