Profile

Mr. Fortin joined Republic in February 2004 as an accounting analyst for the special projects group.
There he supported the team with portfolio cash flows and collections and assisted with analysis relating to potential purchases of portfolio companies.
In January 2005, Mr. Fortin was promoted to financial analyst in the Aviation & Portfolio Group.
As an analyst, he supported the sales effort of the group through the analysis of aircraft values, lease rates and trends in the capital markets for the aviation industry.
Mr. Fortin provided in-depth analysis that proved to be instrumental in the purchase of (6) A340 aircraft from Airbus by Republic in February 2006.
Before joining Republic, Mr. Fortin worked in litigation and valuation for a public accounting firm.
From 2000 to 2003, he valued privately held companies and worked on multiple litigation projects ranging from personal injury to class action lawsuits.
Mr. Fortin holds a BA in accounting and finance from the University of Nebraska and is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Denver.
