Ms. Schmitz began her financial career in 1994 as an institutional derivatives trader on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
After receiving her equity licenses, series 7, 63, 65, and 13, while working with Morgan Stanley during the 1990's, she became a member of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.
From 1999 to 2003, she was the Specialist market-maker in equity options for companies including Merck, Motorola, and Barnes & Noble Bookstores.
Prior to working with Quantum Capital Management, she was a high net-worth financial consultant with Charles Schwab & Co. managing over $290 million in client assets.
She received a BA from DePaul University in Chicago, in International Studies and studied in Mexico, Greece, Turkey, Egypt and Malta.
She is currently finishing her MBA in Global Management and Marketing from Mills College, Graduate School of Business.
Jennifer is a member and former Chapter President of the National Association of Women MBAs.
