Mr. Bloom joined HRJ Capital in October 2001, from Storm Ventures, where he also served as Chief Financial Officer.
Previously, he was a partner with the law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), specializing in the formation and operation of venture capital funds.
Prior to joining WSGR, Mr. Bloom practiced as a tax attorney in New York at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, specializing in formation and operation of private equity investment funds, including domestic and international hedge funds, growth capital funds and real estate funds.
He has also been a regular speaker regarding legal and business developments of interest to the venture capital community.
Mr. Bloom received his Bachelor's Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a joint J.D.
Degree and L.L.M.
in taxation degree from the New York University School of Law.
