Jean Stoner

Ms. Stoner has served in the physician coding and billing industry for more than 20 years.
She has worked as a client representative at a physician billing service, a reimbursement analyst at a multi-specialty surgical practice plan, a consultant with a medical practice consulting firm, a coding trainer and auditor at a university-based MSO and is currently a Coding Analyst working with the natural language processing team at CodeRyte to improve the coding engine.
Ms. Stoner also works with CodeRyte’s Coding Analyst Support team and conducts coding support calls with some clients.
Ms. Stoner earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Penn State University in 1985, a CPC certification from the AAPC in 1998, an RCC certification from the Radiology Coding Certification Board in 2001 and was voted "Coder of the Year" by the AAPC in 2002
