He also has served as general counsel for British–Borneo Exploration, Inc. and senior counsel for Enserch Exploration, Inc. He has been a member of the Offshore Committee for the Independent Petroleum Association of America and has served on the Board of Directors for Enserch Federal Credit Union.
A member of the State Bar of Texas and The Mississippi Bar, Teringo received a bachelor’s degree (with distinction) in business from Mississippi State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Mississippi
