Ivy Ren

Ivy Ren is a Director in Asia Alternatives’ Beijing office.
Ms. Ren is primarily responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, deal execution and portfolio management of private equity fund investments and co-investments in China.
Prior to joining Asia Alternatives, Ms. Ren was a Private Equity Analyst for the IFC, World Bank in Washington D.C.
She evaluated growth equity investments across East Europe, Africa, America and Asia.
She constructed financial analyses using a broad range of methodologies, performed due diligence and prepared and presented investment memos to the investment committee.
Previously, she was an Investment Banking Analyst for J.P Morgan First Capital in Beijing, China.
There, she advised and executed a full range of investment banking transactions, including equity, debt offering and M&A.
Ms. Ren graduated from University of Oxford with a MSc in Financial Economics and received her Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honor) from Renmin University of China.
She is a CFA Level II candidate.
Ms. Ren is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
