Mr. Herbert Jackel is is Executive Director at WestLB AG’s Corporate Finance Department and in-charge of Mezzanine/Private Equity transactions.
Prior to joining WestLB Equity Investments he worked for several years in the Investments Banking division of WestLB in Duesseldorf and Tokyo.
From 2001-2008 he headed a private equity team at WestLB, focussing on the Financial Services sector (banks, insurance and leasing companies).
Prior to that he held various positions at WestLB’s Investment Department.
During that period he was on the Supervisory Board of several international financial companies.
Based in Tokyo from 1988-1991, he was head of WestLB’s Swap Department for the entire Asia region.
He studied Economics and related subjects at the Universities of Cologne and Bath/U.K.
