Hatem Saad Hendawi

Mr. Hendawi is an experienced audit professional with over 11 years accounting, risk management and financial expertise across an array of industries.
At CORECAP, he is actively involved in the funding side of transactions.
He is also involved in the due diligence process and plays an important role in the post-acquisition management of investee companies.
Mr. Hendawi started his career in the Accounting division at Sheraton Hotels, Egypt and subsequently moved to Arthur Andersen, where he spent six years of his professional career.
He then joined Ernst & Young, where he was primarily involved in the overall management of different audit engagements, including auditing and preparing financial statements, reviewing management strategies, assessing control environments and identifying potential operating and financial risks.
He also performed a number of due diligence engagements and was involved in applying various business valuation methodologies, analyzing financial ratios as well as developing business and financial restructuring recommendations.
Prior to CORECAP, he worked at Abu Dhabi Audit Authority as an Audit Executive for four years.
Mr. Hendawi is a Certified Public Accountant from the University of Illinois, USA and a member of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Commerce from Cairo University, Egypt.
